labourstudents.org.uk back and better than ever!

Labour Students have relaunched their online presence with a radical overhaul of labourstudents.org.uk.

Here on the revamped site, visitors can get the latest news from Labour Students; keep up to date with our blog; find out about Labour Students' campaigns; and see what Labour Students is doing in their area with our interactive map.

You can also meet our National Committee, contact the officers and, of course, join us.

Rob Newman, Labour Students' National Secretary, said: "The relaunch of labourstudents.org.uk reflects our movement as a whole.

"Labour Students is more active than ever on university and college campuses up and down the country. Membership is thriving.

"Our campaigns are setting the agenda on issues affecting students, from sexual health to ending poverty at home and abroad. What's more, they are winning, with the Government listening to our lobbying, for instance on cutting VAT on condoms and extending child benefit.

"We've continued that success during this academic year, maintaining our record of campaigning and standing up for progressive values — and we want to share what we do. Here at labourstudents.org.uk, you can comment on our blog, watch video content and find out what Labour Students is doing in your region with our interactive map. You can also find out all about our national events, including our Annual Conference, which is happening in Birmingham next month.

"It's proving to be a fantastic year with Labour Students — and the revamped labourstudents.org.uk is your way to get involved."

It's fantastic to see Labour Students back on the internet, and it's even better to see a website with such a fresh and up-to-date look. Hopefully members of Labour Students from across the country will feel able to participate in contributing to the website and it will become the first stop for all Labour Students when checking the internet.
