VISIT LONDON THIS SPRING AND JOIN LABOUR STUDENTS CAMPAIGNING FOR KEN
Labour Students have played an active role in Ken Livingstone's mayoral campaign this year and will be stepping things up a gear over the coming months into the short campaign. We've dressed up as chickens and as Santa, donned Boris masks, briefed activists on the details of the campaign and joined hundreds of volunteers leafleting London on January 3rd as fares rose.
Labour Students from up and down the country travelled to London to help launch Ken's Fare Deal campaign and we hope to see volunteers from all over the UK as the campaign continues. Why not start planning a trip to London with your Labour Club now? We'll do what we can to help with accommodation as long as we know you're coming down.
Ken's campaign promises to be great fun but it is only with your help that we will deliver the leaflets, knock on the doors and make the phone calls that are needed to return Ken to City Hall.
If you can't make it down to London why not follow Aberystwyth Labour Students lead and run a phonebanking session for Ken?
If you want to volunteer for Ken, can organise a group to travel to London from your Labour Club or need help organising a phone bank please contact Ross MacRae - ross_macrae@labour.org.uk.
