Labour Students Political Weekend is the first of three National Events held every year by Labour Students. This year we are holding it in Wortley Hall near Sheffield on November 1 and 2.

There will be a fantastic social, a quiz, debates and the chance to meet fellow Labour Students from across the country. Confirmed speakers include David Blunkett, James Purnell and John Prescott. More names will be released shortly and this will be an ideal weekend for those seeking an introduction to the Labour movement. And for those that have been before a chance to see old friends and meet new ones.

In addition the Labour Students Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Campaign is holding a special event in the same venue on the Friday evening. Members who self define can attend this additional night at no extra cost and discuss the future of the Campaign. To register for this additional evening you must self define as LGBT and be a member of Labour Students. Contact Alan Scobbie for further information without delay.
