Community Union

Labour Campaign Network

In December 2012, Labour Students put pen to paper on a long-term partnership with Community Union.

We believe that Community is a trade union which shares our values, our passion and our commitment to the Labour Party which is why we are so proud to have signed this partnership cementing our relationship. We saw in Community, not only a faultless commitment to advancing their members' conditions both in work and the communities in which they live, but one which understood the necessity to adapt in order to attract young people  to them - which they have done with their Labour Campaign Network.

Since we started working with Community, Labour Students have contributed to tens of thousands of hours on the doorstep with Community's Labour Campaign Network. It's been with this support that we've been able to turn out such numbers and with this support that we'll be able to mobilise even larger numbers of people to campaign for Labour candidates up and down the UK in the run up to the 2015 General Election.

If you're not yet a member of a trade union, take a look at Community's Labour Campaign Network and their reduced rate for members of Labour Students. The majority of your contribution will go directly in to supporting and developing campaigning for Labour on the ground.

By joining Community as a Labour Party member you are joining a union that positively and actively supports the Labour Party.

How much does it cost?

It's normally £8.06 a month but is £2.60 if you are a member of Labour Students or Young Labour. Your membership also provides you with access to legal and workplace advice from Community's Member Service Centre. The Member Service Centre is open 9am-5pm Monday to Friday and you can get in touch on freephone 0800 389 6332 or by emailing
