Campus Campaigning

Every year Labour Students campaigns hard on campus' across the U.K. In recent years we have ran incredibly successful campaigns to get Universities to pay the Living Wage to all their staff, and to kick legal loan shark companies out of our Universities.

This year however, we will be focusing, more than anything else, on Voter Registration. The Tory led coalition has done it's best to stop students voting by removing the traditional mass registration of University students. This means that every student who wants to vote has to register without any prompting from the Government. So, if you want to make a difference on your campus this year use the information provided here, and some of the links and tools below, in order to make sure every student on your campus has a voice in May 2015!

We also make a point of encouraging Labour Students to get involved in the democratic structures at their Students Union. Lots of Labour Students even become sabbatical officers where they help represent the students at their university and ensure that our values of fairness, equality, and social justice remain at the heart of the student movement.
